JASON WALKER

Choose a hiring lens

Connect the strategy, system and work.

I work across brand strategy, creative direction, design leadership and AI-assisted systems because the hardest brand problems do not respect departmental boundaries. I clarify the choice, build the language and structures that carry it, and help the people responsible for execution turn one strategic idea into a coherent experience.

01One idea

One idea should survive every handoff.

Strategy. System. Work.

Practice

How I work inside an organization

The complete practice connects customer meaning, strategic choice, creative expression, organizational alignment and the systems that help people carry the work.

Build the brand around who the customer is becoming.

Creative and strategic decisions become coherent when the organization shares one understanding of the identity and aspiration the customer is pursuing.

Earn the customer’s attention before asking for action.

Attention is scarce and valuable. Communication should repay it with entertainment, insight, useful direction or a clearer picture of what is possible.

Get brand into the decision while the decision is open.

Brand has greater value when it helps shape products, priorities and experiences than when it decorates choices already made.

Make the reasoning transferable.

Standards become useful when people understand the examples, exclusions and judgment behind them.

Build people who can carry the work farther.

Leadership should leave teams with stronger judgment, clearer ownership and less dependence on the leader.

02Coherence

The work becomes coherent when the choices connect.

Outcomes

Selected outcomes

The complete record connects the strategic decisions, creative work, organizational systems and measurable outcomes behind the career.

  1. Frontline21

3× the lead-generation target and roughly 180 accounts from a single email.

An identity-driven campaign that also produced a 6,000+ attendee conference activation and shifted the company’s conference strategy for the first time in decades.

  2. Five Stones

20,000+ kits distributed nationally and internationally.

Partner enablement that started with what pastors needed, not with what the company wanted to sell. It became the first viable church-as-channel pathway for product awareness.

  3. Victory brand strategy and portfolio architecture

Rebrand the product to rebrand the customer.

With churn approaching 90%, acquisition alone could not repair the customer relationship. The category had taught people to see themselves through shame, surveillance and failure. I repositioned Victory around becoming and formation, then designed the portfolio architecture that established Covenant Eyes as the institutional authority and organized Victory, Five Stones and the supporting content brands into a coherent, selectively disclosed system.

  4. Four-year executive alignment

    Resolved a four-year positioning deadlock.

Organized and led a strategic onsite with executive, product and marketing leadership that cleared long-standing disagreement and restarted brand and product development.

  5. Flagship agency campaign

$1.2M engagement and 18× the previous best result.

Represented the brand inside the company’s first $1.2M agency engagement, the highest-impact campaign in company history.

  6. AI-supported brand voice

A voice framework integrated with AI tooling.

Let 20+ writers across three departments align quickly to brand standards, improving clarity, consistency and speed of execution at scale.

03Where it was carried

Strategy is only real when the system carries it.

Fractional Marketing Leader

Radiant Mobile

Remote · May–June 2026

A short fractional engagement with America’s first Christian mobile wireless service. I led positioning, messaging, onboarding and lifecycle strategy, translated the network technology into language customers could understand, and began building the company’s first integrated marketing operating system.

  • Turned a differentiated network capability into a position customers could understand.
  • Designed the company’s first integrated marketing operating system, connecting workstreams to ownership, reporting and the customer journey.
  • Used AI-assisted workflows to accelerate research, comparison, writing and system development, with every output judged and released by a person.

Remote / Owosso, Michigan · 2018–May 2026

Creative and brand leadership inside an enterprise SaaS company, across eleven years with the company (2015–May 2026). Leadership

Leadership that leaves capacity behind

I help designers pioneer the careers they dream of.

I build the learning, merit and advancement structures that let designers make increasingly sophisticated decisions. Designers moving toward a senior role complete the Scholarly Inquiry, a structured study of the vocabulary, elements and principles of two-dimensional design. I use Bloom’s taxonomy to move them past recall into analysis, evaluation and creation, argue for assignments above their current experience while leaving the ownership with them, and teach teams to go ten ideas deep, working through the conventional answers until genuinely original ones begin.
